9-10, 2009 Commemoration of the 300th anniversary of the publication of
John Lawson's A New Voyage to Carolina, to be held at the North
Carolina Museum of History in Raleigh.
October
11-13, 2009 Society for the History of Discoveries Annual Meeting. SHD
will hold its 50th annual meeting from October 11-13, 2009 in Raleigh,
North Carolina. The SHD
meeting will immediately follow the October 9-10 events/seminar
commemorating the 300th anniversary of the publication of John
Lawson's A
New Voyage to Carolina, and will be held in the same
venue, the North
Carolina Museum of History.
